Due to extensive flood damage the Ahrtalbahn (Ahr valley railway) was still completely closed at the time of the photo. Here we see 430 of AVB ready for departure on a rail replacement service. Nowadays (03/2022) the first half of the railway line is reopened, but the second half will still remain closed for years to come.
