Routemaster bus RML2729 (reg. SMK 729F, ex-ZV 7699) was delivered to London Transport in October 1967. As with all RML buses, in the early 1990s it was re-engined (Cummins) and refurbished. It saw continual use in London into the privatisation era, passing in 1994 into the fleet of London United. It was finally withdrawn in August 2004, being bought that November by bought by Dualway Coaches of Rathcoole, Northern Ireland. They converted it to a partially open top bus, also fitting it with a closeable rear door (extending the rear panelling to full width in the process, but retaining the original RML style rear window), putting it into service with the Northern Irish registration ZV 7699. It eventually saw use on the Dublin City Sightseeing tour in their bright red livery, which Dualway operate. In November 2008 it reutrned to London and its original registration, when bought by London Bus Company, who returned it to London red livery. In April 2010 it passed to Premium Tours, also of London, who use it on London tour services.
